Free Money Friday - Laurels Fund for Women

$5,000 is up for grabs for women seeking their Ph.D. in Accounting. The money is provided by The Laurels Fund, established back in 1978 by The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting. It was created to offer monetary help to female students pursuing advanced degrees in accounting.

Ladies are eligible based on scholarship involving academic achievements in course work and research. Long-term community service and financial need play a role, as well. In order to qualify, you must submit an official transcript and current enrollment information. Also, a scholarship and character-based letter of reference must be attached.

You can find a full list of the requirements on their website.

Deadline: May 15th, 2020

Recipients announced: June 2020
